 I have wanted to spend a winter near the coast ever since I set foot in the Bay of Fundy. The rocks, the crashing water, the sheer strength of the elements, have a massive pull on me. I want to be safely inside while it rages outside, with art supplies and enough food for awhile, to expand on the inside. And then to go out into the wild and let those forces blow through me, clean me out of anything that is unnecessary and discardable.
40 years ago I dreamed of doing this 'someday', now someday has come. Some friends had asked me to write a group email once in a while, this page is doing the task. Putting the story here on my website will keep everything together and nobody gets their emails clogged up with photos either. If you care to follow me on this page, welcome! |
